Overview
A concept fitness application focused on daily consistency rather than intensity.
The problem
Most fitness apps overwhelm new users with data and guilt them with red numbers.
Objective
Design a home screen that answers 'how am I doing today?' with one glance and one encouraging message.
Research & strategy
Interviews with casual exercisers showed that streaks and gentle nudges outperformed detailed metrics for retention.
Wireframes
Three core tabs — Today, Progress, Workouts — with a single activity ring as the anchor element.
Visual direction
White surfaces, a violet primary and a lime accent for achievement. Rounded but not playful.
Final design
A home screen with one ring, three supporting stats, an encouragement card and today's activity.
Responsive screens
Designed for small and large phone sizes with dynamic type support.
Design decisions
- One primary metric per screen
- Positive-only colour semantics
- Progress before prescriptions
Results & impact
This is an illustrative concept project. Verified client results are not available, so no performance claims are shown.
