Conversion is mostly clarity. Visitors leave when they cannot tell what you do, who it is for, or what happens next.
The order that works
- Hero: one sentence, one action.
- Proof: work, not adjectives.
- Offer: what you deliver, in plain words.
- Objections: price, timeline, process.
- Close: the same single action again.
One action per screen
Two buttons of equal weight halve your conversion. If you need a secondary action, make it visually secondary.
Write the headline last
Design the page, then write the headline that summarises it. Headlines written first tend to be slogans, not statements.
